Course Description

This intermediate course is designed for photographers who want to capture food that looks as delicious as it tastes. Combining technical mastery with creative styling, this course takes you step by step through every aspect of food photography, from shooting with natural light to shaping it with professional studio setups.

You will learn how to plan, style, and photograph your own projects while developing a personal visual identity that makes your images stand out. Through guided practice, you’ll understand how color, light, and composition work together to make food truly mouth-watering.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Select and apply color theory to build harmonious and appetizing visual palettes.

• Style your scenes using props, textures, tools, and backgrounds that enhance storytelling.

• Compose strong visuals using angles, leading lines, curves, and repetition for dynamic framing.

• Master lighting direction: from natural light to continuous and artificial studio setups.

• Understand your equipment by choosing the right lenses, focal lengths, and stabilizing techniques.

• Make food look irresistible through balance, contrast, and attention to detail.

Hands-on sessions will let you plan, style, and shoot your own food projects, including coffee, desserts, breakfast, and dinner scenes.
