Join renowned professional fashion photographer Maya Kanakry for an intensive one-day, in-studio fashion photoshoot workshop, designed to teach you how to take full control of a professional fashion production from start to finish. 

With her long and accomplished history in the fashion photography industry, Maya will guide you step-by-step through the real workflow of a complete full-day shoot.

This workshop focuses on developing the essential skills every photographer needs to lead a fashion set with confidence, clarity, and artistic precision.

What You Will Learn:

• How to direct an entire team professionally: model, makeup artist, hairdresser, and stylist

• How to communicate your vision and maintain coherence throughout the shoot

• On-set techniques to adjust, shape, and refine studio lighting in real time

• How to guide and direct your model naturally and professionally

• Understanding workflow, timing, and smooth set management for a full-day production

You will observe, practice, and learn exactly how a professional fashion photoshoot is executed from the first test shot to the final outcome, all under Maya’s real-time guidance and corrections.

Workshop Series:

This in-studio edition is the winter workshop and part of a larger educational series.

The next workshop in the series will take place outdoors during spring, focusing on location-based fashion photography and natural-light direction.
