Born in 1975, Maria Abou Rahal is a professional photographer with more than two decades of experience in the fields of fashion, product, and art photography. A graduate in photography from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK), she has worked across editorial, commercial, and cultural platforms, building a career that blends technical mastery with refined artistic sensibility.
Her career includes fashion photography for Mondanité Magazine, Choc Magazine, and M.R. Design, as well as architectural and interior photography for Mondanité Magazine, Idée Gallery, and Jihad Khairallah Architects. She has collaborated with designers such as Nada Debs and Nadeene Rouphael, and her photography has been featured in international books and publications, including works on Romuald Sciora, Badr Hage, Huguette Caland, Hanibal Srouji, and Alfred Basbous.
Maria has also worked extensively with prominent collectors and museums, including the Jawad Adra Collection, Nabu Museum, Sursock Museum, Dalloul Art Foundation, Saleh Barakat Gallery, Opera Gallery Beirut, and Janine Rbeiz Gallery, contributing to exhibitions, publications, and major cultural projects.
Since 2015, Maria has been an instructor at the Fine Art Photography Academy (FAPA), where she teaches Product Photography and Fashion Photography. Her teaching combines hands-on technical training with an emphasis on aesthetic vision, equipping students with the skills to produce both commercially viable and artistically compelling images.
