Course Description

Fashion Photography II is designed for photographers ready to advance beyond strong technical foundations and step confidently into the world of high-level editorial creation. Building on the principles established in Fashion Photography 1 and Art Direction, this course focuses on concept development, creative direction, campaign-building, and refining your visual identity across multiple environments.

Throughout this program, you will merge your previous photography experience and personal artistic background with a tailored editorial theme selected specifically for you. Your assigned concept will be executed in two distinct locations, outdoors on-site and inside FAPA’s professional studios, allowing you to explore consistency, creativity, and direction across different shooting conditions.

During every session, your instructor will be fully present, guiding you in the studio, correcting your on-set decisions, and ensuring every step aligns with strong editorial and artistic standards. You will strengthen your eye, refine your choices, and learn how to shape a complete fashion campaign with confidence and intention.

What You Will Learn:

• Develop advanced editorial concepts with purposeful creative direction

• Build cohesive fashion narratives across indoor and outdoor settings

• Apply art-direction principles to elevate styling, composition, and atmosphere

• Execute fashion shoots with clarity, intention, and strong visual identity

• Produce a complete, high-level fashion campaign from concept to final images

• Receive guided corrections and personalized feedback during each shoot

Your Editorial Campaign Theme:

You will receive one editorial theme assigned specifically to support your strengths and artistic development. You may share ideas for inspiration, but the final theme will be selected and approved by the instructor to ensure it aligns with the course objectives and leads to a strong final result.

Your theme will be selected from the following 8 editorial directions: Hot Winter Editorial, Fresh Spring Campaign, Minimalist Fashion Story, Urban Street Fashion, Documentary Fashion Narrative, Surrealist Fashion, Futurist Aesthetic, Timeless Black & White Story.

Each direction challenges you to expand your creativity while maintaining a cohesive artistic identity across both studio and outdoor environments.
